K-dramas is short for Korean dramas. It ranges from romance, comedy, action, and so on. A typical K-drama usually has hour long episodes like in a Spanish soap opera. Korean dramas are different from others since many things can happen in the first episode. An example would be the first episode of the romance comedy You're Beautiful. [Spoiler Alert!] In the first episode, there is a nun who is known for being clumsy when suddenly a manager of her twin brother finds her tries to convince her of taking her brother's place basically, she will have to dress like a guy and not let anyone find out that he is actually a she. If this drama does not catches your attention go for a genre that you like and give it a try. It never hurts watching episode one of a drama. Another thing is that every K-drama will have an OST which stands for Original Soundtrack and has all the main songs in a Korean drama. Songs from an OST are sung by Korean pop idols or the actors themselves in the drama.
